Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results; our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them only to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review aggregated log data to maintain the site and understand which pages are used. Basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technologies.
What We Do With This Data
We use this information to operate the site, resolve problems, measure traffic, and improve pages. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguarding Your Data
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only while needed for the purposes described above. Because this site has no user accounts, it holds no account password or user profile for you.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights vary by residence and applicable law. Georgia does not have a comprehensive consumer-privacy statute identified in the project research, so the general rights and laws that apply to a request govern. Because we retain little data, we can search our contact mailbox and available server logs for responsive information. Use the Contact page to ask. Georgia state, Forsyth County, and municipal records remain under their custodians' control; correction or removal requests for those records must go to the responsible office.
Updates to This Policy
Revisions to this policy will appear on this page. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
